Privacy Policy

TheGringo AI ("we," "us," "our"), including our content tool MakerVox, helps a creator publish their own content to social platforms they connect (such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Connected-account authorization. When you connect a platform, we receive an access token (and refresh token) and a basic account identifier (for example, a TikTok open_id) through that platform's official OAuth flow. We use these only to publish content you create to that account.
• Content you create. The videos, images, and captions you choose to publish through the tool.
• Basic operational data. Timestamps and status of publishing requests, so we can confirm a post succeeded and retry on failure.

We do not collect personal information from your audience, and we do not access your private messages, contacts, or any data beyond the permissions you grant for publishing.

How we use it

• To publish the content you choose to your connected accounts.
• To keep your connection working (refreshing tokens) and report post status.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties — except sending your content to the platform you explicitly connect in order to publish it.

Storage & security

Access tokens are stored privately and used solely to publish on your behalf. We keep only what is needed to operate the tool and protect it with standard safeguards.

Retention & deletion

You can revoke our access at any time from your platform's settings (for TikTok: Settings → Security & permissions → Apps and websites / Manage app permissions). Revoking immediately stops our access. To request deletion of any stored authorization data, email us at the address below and we will remove it promptly.

Children

This tool is for business/creator use and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above when we do.
